Working with clients is our pride and joy. There is nothing more rewarding than having a client tell you that they now have a home that feels like them, after there was nowhere in their home that felt like them, when you first met. Or that they can finally use their kitchen with ease after it felt chaotic and closed off before. Or that their home feels bright and spacious, when before it felt dark and sad. These are the "why". When people ask "why are you an Interior Designer?" This is why. Solving problems, creating function, making beautiful spaces is the reason for my becoming an Interior Designer.

Empty nesters is a large part of our clientele at Designs by Heather, because we understand that next phase of life. We are also living that next phase of life. Once the kids start to leave the homes start to feel empty and maybe it's been a long time since your home has been renovated, so you start thinking about bringing some new life into the house. Or maybe you've decided to downsize, but this new house holds no memories for you, so it feels kind of sad. That's where we come in. We want to walk this path with you and create those new spaces. Whether that's in the home you've been in for years and we are bringing it back to life with a place the kids can come back to for years to come; and now your home will be the holiday gathering home. Or we are making this new home you are in feel a bit more storied and figuring out how to make it feel a bit more "home-y". We are ready to create these new memories and spaces with you in this next chapter. Let's explore which package fits you best.

THE CURATED HOME
Our Signature Service is The Curated Home, is a luxury full service experience for clients who want that detail rich, taken care of you approach, without the decision fatigue, endless Pinterest scrolling, and shopping for it all themselves. We’ll help you create that cohesive and storied home by envisioning the potential in your home and bringing it to life in a way that feels authentic to you.
ROOM BY ROOM DESIGN
For those who don’t need a full home make-over but want direction, guidance and just one or two beautifully designed rooms, we offer The Room by Room Design Package. This highly sought after package is a smaller scale of the full service and offers you the same attention to detail service but is designed to refresh only one or two rooms in your home at a time.
THE STYLE SESSION

COLOR CONSULTATION
For those who want direction, guidance and want to tackle things on their own, we offer The Style Session Package. This one-time consulting experience is designed to help you define your vision, streamline your selections, and move forward with intention. This is a great way to spend some time with a designer in your own home, at a store, or at a selection showroom discussing your ideas, getting feedback, and making decisions to move forward. This service can be used in a variety of ways to customize what you need.

We also have a specific Color Consultation Package for someone needing help with paint colors in their home. This is fully comprehensive five step color process evaluating the undertones, lighting, existing items, and more in your home to come up with a color palette for your home.
VIRTUAL DESIGN
For the client who lives out of town or maybe even lives in town, but would only like a concept design, Virtual Design is a great option. This design style works for those who like to do the work themselves, have a great team they want to use and don't need the implementation, or don't live near me. I can help you get that project you've been dreaming of off the ground and into reality with very detailed instructions for you to take the reigns in a very confident manner.
Average costs of room remodels - 2025
Kitchen - $30,000 – $200,000
Bathroom - $10,000 - $30,000
Primary Bathroom - $30,000 - $90,000
Bedroom / living room - $6,000 - $30,000
Costs are varied by how much work is being done. Walls, plumbing, and electrical moving will drive the costs up. The low end prices are in line with purchasing your own items, and doing your own work. Bringing in trades and a designer will add costs, as well as the finishes/ furnishings selected.
