Caspian Model Home

Helping style a model home was a lot of fun. The client was looking for something a little different than what they had done in previous models. They usually went glam and modern and this time they wanted something that felt a bit more approachable, warm, but still updated. They also wanted it to reflect their brand colors of orange and gray. Their project was more of a concept design, as I provided all of the styling and mood boards, and then their team placed all of the orders and put it all together. It was exciting to go and see the model when it was done and take pictures. Not every job gets a full service package where I get to provide my services from start to finish. I try and work with what is best for the client and create a package that fits what will be best for them.

"Heather has great taste and picked out amazing pieces that fit the look we were going for, budget, and timeline! Easy to work with and communicative. Highly recommend!"

Warm and Inviting

Creating that living space that prospective homeowners connect with when looking at model homes is key for home builders. It has to be what is current, beautiful, elevated, but also approachable. Caspian approached me with just those goals. They had a previous model that was a bit more glam and they wanted something that felt more "comfortable" and softer. Using soft fabrics, cozy chairs, and a worn looking area rug helped bring this living room together so future homeowners could envision themselves living happily in this space.

The bedrooms still felt elevated and a little glam, as they used some of their previous furniture, but we softened it up a bit with throw pillows and soft blankets.

Creating a space for a kids room was a ton of fun. Leaning into a room that could be for a girl or a boy with a hot air balloon theme, I found some fun accessories that brought in a playfulness.
