A Whole Home Design

This Client had recently purchased a home that felt dated. They were moving from their other home and ready to do a full renovation on the home they just purchased before they moved in. They wanted to tackle the first floor of the home which included the kitchen, living room, pantry, dining room, breakfast area, guest bathroom, primary bedroom and primary bathroom; as well as changing all of the flooring on the first floor.

The guest bathroom was currently a full bathroom with a tub that was not needed and we decided to convert that to a half bath to give more room to create a walk in pantry from the kitchen side. Moving the refrigerator and creating an oven tower to the opposite wall from where it originally stood allowed the range wall to have a centrally balanced hood and a beautiful moment to stand out.

In the primary bathroom we swapped the toilet closet with the shower to allow for a much larger walk in shower and a free standing tub.

In the living room we carried through the same color cabinetry from the kitchen into the built-ins for symmetry and balance.

The overall feeling of the renovation was one of classic beauty and elegance.

A Timeless Kitchen

The range wall is created with symmetry and grace. The hood has beautiful sweeping curves, there are elegant sconces on each side and the beautiful backsplash all create a lovely feeling of elegance.

A Soft and Calming Living Room

Bringing the same cabinetry in from the kitchen adds repetition and keeps the room feeling light and bright. The long wood open shelving gives lots of opportunity for decor and personalization. These swivel chairs allow for you to change direction to wherever the conversation is. This amazing sectional is not only comfortable, but reclines! It's the ultimate in luxury lounging. The dark coffee table helps ground the space and adds a traditional feeling to the space. The cream drapes help keep the space light and airy, but with a 100% blackout feature, help keep the light out when you want a bit more darkness.

Primary Bathroom

Creating a luxury primary bathroom that also was functional was the primary goal. The original bathroom felt dark, dated and had a tub that felt more utilitarian than spa. The original location of the shower felt cramped and dark and didn't allow for expansion, so we swapped that with toilet location to allow for it to be expanded and create a luxury walk in shower with a free standing tub.
