The Process
Renovating your home is a very exciting and scary process. You may have one room or many; It might be a living room, a kitchen, or a nursery, we can do them all. There are big decisions to be made, your homelife will be disrupted during the renovation or installation day, you're working with basically complete strangers coming into your home, and don't forget it's usually a large expense. No doubt it's a scary, nerve wracking decision to be made; but if you've gotten this far, you are already in a good place. You're several steps ahead of someone trying to tackle it on their own. You're ready for an expert to help you create that space you've been planning and dreaming about. I can be that expert for you! When we work together I make sure that you feel comfortable, understand the process and know what you are getting. Let's explore my process.
The Introduction
In the beginning you've found my page and decided to book a discovery call (thank you), via my contact page. After that initial contact is made I will reach out to you via email with some available dates for our discovery call as well as a questionnaire for you to send back before our call. Once you select a date/ time that works, I will set up that contact via google calendar, sending you a confirmation and will give you a call at that specified time.
The Dating Phase
This is the phase where we get to know each other and make sure that we are a good fit! It all begins with the phone call (cue the butterflies). During the discovery call (which will be about 30 minutes) you'll tell me about your project, what you are hoping to get done, what your desired investment is, and what your timeline is. I'll also answer whatever questions you have about me or anything else. At the end of the call I'll let you know if I'm the best fit for your project and I'll give you some dates for me to come out and see your space (if you're ready to move forward as well).

The second part of this phase is coming out to see the physical space. There is a $150 fee for me to come out and walk the space with you. During this time it's important to have all decision makers at the meeting to discuss the logistics of what can be done, how it will work and who needs to possibly be hired (plumber, electrician, general contractor, painter, etc.) This meeting is roughly an hour.
The Proposal and Planning
After this meeting I will come up with a scope of work and proposal for your project. You will then review this and decide if you'd like to move forward by returning the signed contract.

Once the contract is signed and we've agreed upon a timeline, scope of work and investment - THE PLANNING BEGINS! This part takes some time, as all good planning does. I will come out for a second home walk through to get measurements and pictures. Then, based on your scope of work I may create 3-D renders, space plans, mood boards, meet you at selection stores, share samples with you, etc., which you will review and approve or modify.

Some projects finalize at this step, as you may want to purchase the items we've agreed upon on your own and install them into your home, not all homes require/ desire a full service with a designated install day.

If we decide you'd be a better fit for a full service design with an installation day and warehousing, then the next step is: I place the orders for your items, or discuss finishes with your trades (for them to order) and we either wait for deliveries or trades will commence. (I do not hire trades. You will interview your own trades and hire them directly.) An installation day will be roughed out and we wait.
The Big Day
It's finally here! Your items have been getting delivered to our receiving warehouse and are now all in and we have a date set for installation and reveal. Depending on the size of the project this may take 1-2 days and our team will get everything set up for you, remove the trash and stage your space - all without you lifting a finger!
The Happily Ever After
It's now time for you to enjoy your beautiful new space and to kick your feet up and relax! Share your amazing design with your friends, have a party, or soak it in in private. However you choose, this moment has been well deserved.
